Unknown column 'isadmin' in 'field list'
Page navigation
I am receiving the message Unknown column 'isadmin' in 'field list' when trying to log into my CMS. I did add this column to phpMyAdmin and then received the message that my user name and or password was incorrect. Can anyone help me?

Very odd ...
As for your login problem: If you've lost/messed up your password, you can request a new one by following the "forgot password" link.
For more troubleshooting tips, see this wiki article.

When you try to log in and it tells you that your password is wrong, there's also a link to request a new password. If your email address is correct and working, that's the easiest way to get a new password. No phpMyAdmin required. Only when that doesn't work do you need to dive into the database ...

I'm beginning to wonder if you are trolling ...
Did you try the "forgot password" link? What happened?
If you really want to go the phpMyAdmin way, for whatever reason: The wiki article mentions the tables that are involved (gl_users to reset the password to a known value; gl_group_assignments if you really need to create a new admin user). So what exactly is the problem you are having?

Dirk, I do not know what trolling is but I am sure I am not doing it. I am not a developer or programmer. I really need help getting into my CMS to update my website and cannot.
I truly do not know where this link is and I have looked at the examples that you have provided and am unsure what to do. In phpMyAdmin I can see the password which is a string of numbers and letters. This I have changed but I still can not get into the CMS. I am not sure what else it could be. I still get the "invalid credentials" message.
I am losing visitors and advertisers every day because I cannot change the content. I really appreciate your help with this.
Whenever I remove the "isadmin" i receive this message (Unknown column isadmin in field list) when trying to enter the CMS. When I add the "isadmin" to the "users table" I received the "invalid credentials" message. I am not sure what do to. I am desperate at this point.

Using phpMyAdmin change the password field in the database for your admin user to:
5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99
This will change your password to:
password
You should then be able to log in at that point using password as your passowrd but you should then go and change your password right away to something else (using the admin users form).

Is that a Geeklog site?

Yes, because that's where you're asking for help. The password reset instructions here all pertain to the Geeklog CMS, and would be different depending on how your CMS encodes passwords and what functions it provides.
