Full translation of GL 1.4.0b1 into Ukrainian language. Also translated plugins that are bundled with it (links, polls, spamx, staticpages) and filemgmt

Includes both traditional and simplified Chinese language translations in Unicode (UTF-8) for Geeklog 1.4.0 and its main plugins. I will not package the GB and Big5 code anymore because I don't think anyone would still use these codes to develop a "postmodern" geeklog site. But if you still need them, just email me.

This is a beta release of the Rating plugin 1.0. Please back up your database before installing. It will allow you to add a rating option to any item on the site.

To validate and prevent character selections for account entry and to also prevent badly formed email addresses from creeping into the email address during account registration. Form validation for this aspect of GL has been needed in some basic form for some years now and this provides a first effort at screening this critical aspect of data entry for GL.

This lunar phases script uses a combination of a custom php function and a JavaScript to compute lunar phase information to display an image of the moon phase that is a close approximation of the current phase of the moon.

This is a data migration tool which imports stories (optionally comments and trackbacks) from a Movable Type export file. Farewell to MT, hello Geeklog!

SLV (Spam Link Verification) checks all links in a post for spam. This is a module for Geeklog's Spam-X plugin to make use of that service.
Updated version: Added a timeout option in case the SLV server doesn't respond in a timely manner.

This plugin allows you to backup/restore Geeklog database WITHOUT using mysqldump(.exe).

I created this file for my personal use. As a file with different encoding, it works great!
I send it you File Management because it is not part of the big tar ball of geeklog1.4. Please regard this as my contribution.

A CAPTCHA implementation for Geeklog v1.3.11sr2 or higher. gl-captcha provides additional protections against spam bots registering on your system. See the enclosed README file for installation / usage details.

This static page allows root admins to simulate a userlogin in Geeklog.
Enter the username desired and the page will log you in as that user w/o using the users password.

With just 30-35 lines of code changed in the heart of geeklog, you can support readonly and writeonly story topics without any database structure changes. The zip file contains instruction for making changes to a 1.4.0 system that will enable this functionality. Changes are made to 5 existing core files. Not for the inexperienced or faint of heart hack installer as the changes involve lib-security.php and alter core security functions.
