Well it\'s still better to put in the index.htm files in case the system messes up for some odd reason.. index.htm would always work and if it wouldn\'t, I guess then wouldn\'t anything else 8)

Nonsense. \"If it shouldn\'t work for whatever reason\". What if \"for whatever reason\" the web server is configured to not recognize index.htm? Some aren\'t.

BTW the option I was thinking of before was directory indexing. Turn it off in Apache and you are all set.
