Plugins

Naughty Tane! He forgot to mention, 1.3 comes will be coming with *FULL* plugin support. As with all plugins, it will need to fit in with the API standards for plugins, but it will be quite a powerful and expandible feature. Currently, plugins we're testing include:

phpBB Messages
Photo Album
Static Pages

You can expect alot more to be around the corner. Some of the plugins I'm looking at writing myself include:

Instant Messaging
Email Client
Extended Statistics
Extended Voting
Extended Weblinks
Extended Calendar
Downloads Manager
Groupware Documents (with flow control)

Although the groupware one may not occur due to time and system limitations. However, it does give you an idea of the scope Geeklog is going to embrace.
