How to auth to geeklog via SSL ?

I found solution myself. When I set in the config.php variable
$_CONF['site_url'] to http://my.site.com, everything was forced via HTTP.

When I set $_CONF['site_url'] to https://my.site.com, everything was forced via HTTPS.

Now I have cleared variable $_CONF['site_url'] (set to '') and everything works. This empty string is taken as "base URL". When is empty, current URL is taken - http or https respectively.

I am using 1.5.1 and can't get SSL to work. Everytime I change the configuration menu to site url & admin url to the https it won't let me update or create anything else from that point forward!

Please help!

Did you remember to set "Cookie Secure" to "True"? You can set $_CONF['cookiesecure'] = 1; in siteconfig.php to override the current Configuration setting.
