Does not work on GL_1.8.1 but version 1.7 does...

I tried to install this and got no error - only message that said simply "Install GUS"

I downloaded GUS1.7 from the following:
http://geeklog.fr/downloads/visit.php/gus_1.7.0
Auto-installed flawlessly
