Thought I would try this out with GL version 1.6.1. Unfortunately I get the following error:

[Fri Mar 19 01:48:22 2010] [error] [client IP] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PUBLIC, expecting ')' in /home/sites/lizard69.com/public_html/weblog/plugins/journal/language/english.php on line 91, referer: http://www.lizard69.com/weblog/admin/plugins.php--- Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to fish and you feed them for a lifetime.

This is a really old plugin and I think it stopped working a long time ago (although it shouldn't throw parse errors).
