install problems?

I had installation problems.
But it was easy to fix.
Just add the following line below the "Main Function"-comment:

$action = $HTTP_POST_VARS['action'];

Or a even better idea is to turn register_globals ON. :-)

when i edit system/lib-custom.php my site become done with error
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /home/luckygro/public_html/system/lib-custom.php on line 448

can any1 help me with this issue
