Just a follow up that I was able to move my ewiki install from my old GL 1.3.9 to a new GL 1.5.1 without a problem by just moving the files over to the relevant places. I had to use the Custom menu option in configuration to add Ewiki to the menu_elements though since it didn't show up there for some reason. It's been really handy to have wiki functionality within my GL.
