Trying to install a copy of 1.4.0b1 on the same server as a production 1.3.11 geeklog site, I initially got "your account is blocked" errors. Turns out this is because I was using the same cookies as in the production site; changing the cookie names (And domain) in config.php solved the problem.

Other than that, this looks like an excellent release! Thank you thank you thank you for putting in remote authentication! I can't wait for the official release of 1.4 :)
