Hey windows users need to put in a hard path here for this to work:

(Why can't this be pulled from config.php?)

$GALLERY_BASEDIR "c:/www/public_html/gallery/"; define(CACHE_FILE, "c:/www/public_html/gallery/block-random.cache");
define(CACHE_EXPIRED, 86400);
require_once

Gallery Remote Change

If you are using the Gallery Remote hack described here
http://www.geeklog.net/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=3&showtopic=24738

You need to update
require_once($GALLERY_BASEDIR ."init.php");
TO
require_once($GALLERY_BASEDIR ."init2.php");
