GPlugs and Themes

The GPlugs website has succeeded in consolidating many of the plugins and hacks for Geeklog on one site. In an effort to make things even easier, for those searching for Geeklog addons, we would now like to invite Geeklog Theme developers to join the GPlugs effort and host your themes at the GPLugs site. To make it easier to show them off I have installed the theme tester.

Theme writers who join with us will have full usage of the sourceforge CVS and download services as well as access to the GPlugs website to install your theme.

I would remind all Geeklog hackers/developers that they are welcome to join as always. GPlugs is not an exclusive club, but welcomes everyone.

To join with us send an email to myself or Danny at You will need a sourceforge account, but we can even help you with that.

I've also posted this CVS "how-to" on my site. The how-to was written by Tom and is an excellent reference for CVS newbies. Please use care when working with CVS!

Thanks for the invitation. How about a link to the GPlugs site? I think I've seen it before I but I don't remember the URL.

I am working on language sets, especially UTF-8. Is it also part of what you are talking about?

Yes you are most welcome also. If these are language sets for the main Geeklog distribution, then I would encourage you to joing the geeklog translations mailing list. I always include all translations of my plugins that I am aware of in my distributions and Dirk usually picks up core translations also.

To answer, you question, yes you are welcome to use the services of Gplugs also. Now all we need is that language changer if it ever got finished and working properly.
