The extensive FAQ has more information.
Google is now accepting student applications (until March 26th). Any students interested in working on Geeklog as part of the Summer of Code are invited to have a look at our ideas page. Please contact us if you have any questions or further proposals for projects to implement as part of the Summer of Code. You can email us at contact-us(AT)lists.geeklog.net or use this form.
We are very excited to be taking part in the Summer of Code and are looking forward to working together with the students. This is a great way for students to get some experience in working on an open source project. And for Geeklog, we hope to not only get some new features but also some new members for the Geeklog community.
Update: Google has extended the deadline for student applications a second time now until Tuesday, March 27th, 16:00 UTC.
