Why do they get to be a featured story while everyone else (excet Dirk of course) can't?

I am not sure what you mean? The last 4 front page stories have been from someone else besides Dirk. If the story is Geeklog Community related you shouldn't have a problem getting your story approved.

The demo site's Samples=>Timesheet crashes with root debugging data.

Also, too bad the demo site doesn't show most of the plugins.

Its a demo site that is wide open for users to test with -- it is reset on a regular schedule to remove any issues that someone has created. Nevertheless, I've reset the samples you've noted.

Also, all nexpro plugins are installed on that site. Timesheets, content management, list management, nexpro, projects, document management.... everything is there.

So where do I see the list of plugins you mentioned in this article?

Why don't you ask these questions in their forum like the posting says?

A note for beginners:

I certainly would not recommend Nexpro for beginners.
I installed it on my server, followed the instructions and could not get back into the system. I was trying to find out why, but after 2 days, I have now deleted it completely. I have also had to delete Geeklog and start all over again as my backup did not work either. I backed up my Geeklog files before installing NexPro, but It kept on asking for NexPro even though it was not installed on my server.
Luckily I only had a few members using it, who I have now lost. I do have a huge interest in my project, but it doesn't look like it will be going ahead any time soon. Now I have discovered more errors which I will need to sort out. It is becoming very annoying and I will probably pay an expert to sort it all out for me.
Please do not read this as a complete negative. Geeklog is an amazing piece of software and I will continue to use it. It just takes time to figure it all out. I will keep everyone updated with mistakes that I may have made so that nobody else makes the same ones! It might be a while though.

Lizard.

Can you recommend something for a beginner to use in lieu of NexPro?
