Bio: Dr. Craig Hollabaugh first administered networked SUN workstations while pursuing a doctoral electrical engineering degree at Georgia Institute of Technology. He then developed interface tools and the C++ wrapper for the distributed parallel gradient iteractive at the University of Texas Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. In 1995, he co-founded Wireless Scientific where he developed 20 spread spectrum 900MHz ISM industrial telemetry products. Next, Craig co-founded Kiava Systems in Cambridge. As the Vice President of Engineering, he oversaw Kiava's integration and embedded DSP hardware development. He developed the firmware development of Antec's new flagship product, the Proteus Scalable Node. At Clifton, Weiss and Associates, he's a member of a carrier-class telecommunications network design team. His responsibilies therre were the design and analysis of wired and wireless voice and data networks for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Metro North Railroad, and Pittsburgh Area Transit.

In 2001, Craig wrote Embedded Linux: Hardware, Software and Interfacing for Addison/Wesley. This book positioned him as a world known embedded Linux expert with Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Indian translations. Currently, Craig is developing high-speed digital camera technology for the Department of Energy for use at the Nevada Test Site. He lives in beautiful Ouray Colorado.
