Here's a nice idea for your plugin - http://project.geeklog.net/tracking/view.php?id=1583
That is, add a configuration option for a default theme for mobile users. Then, if it's a mobile user and the site's default theme is different from your configuration option's theme, switch to the configuration option's theme.

I think is should be a built-in feature in Geeklog, but until then maybe you could support it externally.

What do you think?

Anyway, today in 2013 the default theme might be a responsive theme.

A responsive theme like Denim uses screen size to determine how to display the layout. I think this is a better idea than changing themes based on if a user is on a mobile device or not since tablets are considered mobile but they have a much larger screen.

This check would probably be best to set in the theme's functions.php file since having a config option to set a mobile theme based on screen size in Geeklog would have to apply to all themes on the site. If it is done in the theme file you could have different settings for each theme.

Well, the reality is that today in 2013 the default theme (as confirmed in Geeklog 2.0.0's comments and just confirmed by myself too by checking admin/install/config-install.php) is Modern_curve which is not responsive.

Alas, I personally think it looks better for non-mobile users than Denim.
But Denim looks great for mobile users.

Thus I want each audience to get the best experience. Until Modern_curve becomes responsive, I'd want Denim for mobile users.

When it comes to vThemes, I need just 1 global configuration - use Denim for mobiles (you can do so based on small resolutions, if you prefer this method).
