Hi everyone,

This spring I looked closer to the socnet plugin (and core modifications) and it was not what I was waiting for. So I decided to make my own to bring this feature to a community that I run and who needs it. Then I will share
with everyone.

The project is call sphere plugin. Main features will be:

- Manage friends
- Manage personal groups
- Personal blog
- Personal photo galery
- Personal book
- Personnal calendar
- New profile with socnet links and flow
- Customisation of the personal page's name
- Manage access privileges to public, friends, personal groups or private
- Notifications management
- Connection statistics (admin)
- Public portal flow: last infos, last pictures, calendar (admin and
possibly public)

As we were out of the gscoc this year I spent my non co-mentor time to this project, and an alpha preview for this sphere plugin is now live here.

First features allow to members to add or remove users from contacts, and post links, videos, images, informations and comments.

Any feature request and feedback are welcome.

Thanks,

Ben

Looks great Ben! Big Grin

How do you plan to integrate it into the main user profile page? Are you thinking of just a link to their sphere?

Hey Ben,

If you want anymore control over or input on how plugins can access the Geeklog user profile page. Let us know.

Once Geeklog 2.0.0 is out the door I will probably start this feature request soon...

The page is now online. It was due to an ambiguous sql request for anonymous.

Thanks for the feedback.

Does the Geeklog stuff automatically get added or do you have to add them manually?
