I was thinking of creating a drop down list in the editor to specify the country of origin of the articles to display flags and complement the advanced search function using the Smilies Plugin.

Can you advise me the best way to go about it. I would like to show the flag next to the print and email icons or next to the heading.

I need to know the right code to reference the "current article" and "get Autotag"

I would like to know the best place to store the autotag code, for example can I store the autotag code in the intro text and display it in a new field next to the heading.

I think I can manage the rest.
