Hi

I cannot modify the "Syndication Output Folder" field under "Configuration -> Syndication". For some reason it simply refreshes the screen but no changes to this field will save. I can modify other fields in this section.

I'm simply attempting to save the (full) path to /backend/geeklog.rss.

Also - when viewing feeds under "Content Syndication", the feed url shows as http://domain.comgeeklog.rss/ (not sure if this is a cause or effect of the problem above though).

I am running GL 1.5.2sr4, Apache and PHP5.

There are no other errors or strange behaviour.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

Thanks for your reply Ben,

I am using that path (specific to my installation).

More info:

This is the contents of my current "rdf_file" row in table gl_conf_values:

Text Formatted Code
('rdf_file', 's:43:"/home/niha/public_html/backend/geeklog.rss";', 'text', 'Core', 's:0:"";', 0, -1, 1390, 2);

So - this field does have the correct path in the database field, but:

a) it shows up blank on the configuration page, and;
b) cannot be modified via the configuration page.

Manually clearing the value from the database makes no difference.

Thanks
Jonathan

That path, /home/niha/public_html/backend/geeklog.rss, is 42 characters long. The database entry says it's 43. That could be the problem ...

bye, Dirk
