calendar rss feed

I was trying to create a calendar rss feed on a 1.5.1 version site. The calendar selection in syndication does not seem to writing to an rss file. Any thoughts out there

Are those public events readable by guests too?

that is in fact exactly what i found. the permissions have to be set to anonymous for the event to be written to the rss file. hope this is of help ....it makes a dandy shared calendar with the feed online...version 1.5.1 will allow you to turn the calendar menu off until you log in ...so even though the events are open for viewing...most people wont see the calendar plugin

Is there anything wrong? Usually you should not see anything in the RSS if the event is not visible for guests too.
