ok, I just about have my site ot my perfection, ha!, or should I say, close to the way I want it. by the way, I am impressed with gl, not that my opinion really matters, however, i have used various other cm systems"no names," that are not nearly as streamlined as gl, although some have "modules' that require less config. however, you can look at configuration as a good thing, because it teaches one more independence.
i have two question that hoepfully will be my last.

fckeditor is working for all of fckeditor purposes.
i have installed, "autotags" plugin it shows below the text box in stories as polls, and youtube imebed functions.
flash, which shows as a flash logo on the tool bar of fckeditor loads a flash movie, but when previwed or posted there is no movie, just whitespace.
youtube embedding, I just plain do not know how to make this work, I have tried serval times and several ways of embedding one, but to know avail, nothing happens.

any help greatly appreaciated, and I promise not so many questionsd in the future. :shakehands:

Embedding Youtube is so simple: if this is the URL of the Youtube movie: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZlBUglE6Hc, you have to put this part between the brackets: [youtube:9ZlBUglE6Hc].

I haven't tried the Flash embed with the FCK editor, so I can't help you with that at the moment
