Ben,

Thanks for the report. The problem was that there was a runaway process that wasn't behaving on the server. I cannot go into details as this is an open forum. However, the problem has been fixed.

Hi,

I can't log on as an admin on the demo site.

Can someone check it?

Thanks.

Sorry,

It was certainly a cookies issue.

Glad to hear there wasn't any real problem at this time then.

Yes it is a cookie issue. You can't log on demo.geeklog.net if you are first log on geeklog.net. You need to delete the domain cookies

Yeah, there was a cookie conflict between the Geeklog website and the demo site. I've changed the "Cookie Domain" setting over here now and that should resolve it.

You may have to log out from both sites or even remove all of your geeklog.net cookies first to see any effect, though.

bye, Dirk

Works great now. Even in FF3 where I couldn't login to the demo site before using FF3 before, now works.

You probably got that notice because the site might have been in a reset phase at the top of the hour when you tried to surf to the site.

Both demo sites seem to be down. They initially wrote something about a ban, but now just display:
Error 503 : Service Temporarily Unavailable

They are not down. If you are getting a 403 error message like the one listed below, then click on the email link and report what was happening when you got this message. This way we can fix the issues.

Text Formatted Code

Spacequad Internet Services

     403 FORBIDDEN!

Either the address you are accessing this site from has been banned for previous malicious behavior or the action you attempted is considered to be hostile to the proper functioning of this system.

The detected reason(s) you were blocked are:
QUERY Stripped.

Your IP, and Domain Name (if resolvable) has been logged to a local honeypot, along with the referring page (if any), QUERY, POST, User Agent, time of access, and date. Please either 1. Stop the bad behavior, or 2. Cease accessing this system.
Geeklog Demo Site(s) are hosted by Spacequad Internet Services, and has decided to provide you with an e-mail link to start a trouble ticket about this block. You should NOT be seeing this page if you are doing normal demo testing!
Explain what you were doing when you got this message. It is totally possible that you unintentionally got caught in this trap, so please e-mail us.
If you are a spammer/hacker, no need to explain or come back to this site!
Please do not change the beginning of the subject line, nor the preamble of the body text.
Click HERE to start a trouble ticket.

If you do not report it, then we will not know that a legit user wants to access the demo sites.

I no longer get these messages, only the 503 ones.

Send me a email to blocked at spacequad dot net so I can lookup the affected IP address.

Not a problem as long as I am notified of the situation.

The Demo site(s) might be up and down periodically for the next few days while maintenance is performed on the server. This is a known issue and beyond anyone's control. If you do notice it being down for an extended amount of time, please notify me.
