Hi,

I am using Geeklog 1.4.1 currently, however, I do not know what user functions I should give to a normal users or members. I know the situation will be uncontrollable if I give too much right to normal users. Should I give them the rights of story admin, poll admin and link admin to all normal users? So that, they have the rights to access documentation, links, polls, stories and trackback. But, it seems that they will have the rights to edit polls and trackback after that. Is that okay and secure to me? Or what rights should I give them? Please advise. Thanks!

As the "Admin" bit in the group name suggests, you should only give these rights to users who will help you administrate the site. They are not meant for normal users.

Use the default settings and reconsider once you have any actual problems to solve.

bye, Dirk
