Hello,
I have a static page used for my center main front page. No matter what I do, I cannot get the text color to change on text I am using for a link. I have tried to change the color with COLOR="#861303" in the line. It still keeps the CSS main text color.
I have tried to create a new header called H4 in my style sheet. The size is obeyed, but not the color.

How can I change the color of text on one hyperlink within a static page?

Thanks,
Rick

More info.

I can adjust the color of normal text.

It does not work when I am using the text in a hyperlink.
Is there another way to change hyperlink text only for a specific link?

Thanks,
Rick

If it is a specific link you may use an ID instead of a class or !important

Can you provide a link to your site, and I'll take a look.

Thx!

Hi again,

Thanks for the replies.

My site is http://www.grevepigerne.dk
This is a gymnastic site for a team in Denmark.

I think maybe the ID suggestion is a way to go. I only know a small amount of HTML and not much about stylesheets.
I guess I was hoping I could override the default link colors, if I placed them on the line itself. It did not override, so I removed them.
I was trying to make links on the text below the main picture, where we have presentation videos.
The normal link color is the same as my text. So the video links did not stand out.
My work around is to color the text and create a 'click here' link next to it.

Thanks a lot.

If you wrap just the link text in your color it should work, like this:

Text Formatted Code
<a href="http://www.grevepigerne.dk/staticpages/index.php?page=20080204141417362"><font color="#861303">Klik Her !</font></a>

Thx!

Thanks!
It worked when it was wrapped like the example above.

I had the color in front of the href, and that did not work.

Thanks again!
