A non-Index.php Frontpage

Is it possible to have geeklog from a non index.php main page? For example if I wanted a different index page and wanted the geeklog index to run from say geeklog.php. Is there a simple fix to do this or a hard hack? and if it's a hard hack, where do I start?

I would rather suggest to either move geeklog into a subdirectory or assign a different homepage file with your apache/htaccess settings.
Otherwise you would have to make _many_ changes with every new version of geeklog.

... or you could use a static page as your front page.
