Looking good! I thought at first that this was a WordPress site... Had to do a little bit of poking before I believed it was running on GeekLog!

thanks, i do have 1 problem though it appears, I can log in and it stays in fine, basically I changed all teh things needed so a cookie lasts for a whole year and only have that option for it to be logged in 'forever' but it doesn't appear to be keeping ppl logged in....

i'm on ie7 and both on my pc and laptop it works fine, it stays logged in, but a few friends have signed up who still use ie6 and it doesn't keep logged in for them, including my brother.

basically i edited the config file/usersettings and the database, i'm wondering if anyone knows what could cause this?

There is no "forever" option - there's only a "never" option. And the option to stay logged in for a year was removed a couple of versions ago ...

bye, Dirk

what I did was I removed all the other options for logging in, and just had 1 value which was a cookie that would last for a while and called it 'always logged in' done by basically editing the setcookie in the usersettings.php, and setting the default cookie time on config.php and as above, edit the database settings in the cookie table.

So i'm just wondering if this is a problem that i have created, or a computer end problem, as it works on both of my pcs.
