Autolink to Forum

Even though I have been using Geeklog for over a year now, I haven't taken advantage of the Autolinks and Autotags feature. So I decided to take it upon myself to try it out now.

First let me say that my Geeklog is not running in the root of my public_html, but rather in a subdirectory within it. So the URL to my Geeklog site is something like this: example.com/portal/index.php

When I add an Autolink to the Forum (version 2.3 installed) in a new Story article, the Autolink is failing to including the "portal" directory in the URL. Which of course results in a page not found error if you use the link. Yet when I use an Autolink to a Static Page, it works fine (the URL is complete).

It's not a biggie since I still can write out the URL manually using href to include the link in the Story.

Any ideas on a remedy? Or should I be posing this question at PortalParts.com? I am using Geeklog 1.4.0sr5.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Louis

Autotags are implemented by the plugins, so this sounds like a bug in the Forum plugin.

bye, Dirk

Thanks. I need to update the Forum plug-in to 2.5, so I think I will do that before going further.
