White page after upgrade to 1.4sr2

Sorry for my english... Rolling Eyes

After upgrading from 1.3.11 to 1.4sr2 with complete tarball, the success.php page appears totally white, and also the index of site appears totally white, without code.

I have controlled all the path in config.php and lib-common.php, database and file permissions is OK....

Any idea?

What browser is ist? Did you try it with another browser?

It is not a browser problem

however

I have resolved the mystery reading the apache error log:

modifying the lib-common.php with the software pico from shell, one line of code is irregularly wrapped.
fixed the line, now all it seems to work

That`s a very good hint. There is already one hint not to use the cpanel built in editor. Maybe Dirk can add "pico" here http://www.geeklog.net/docs/install.html.
