(1) copy the contents of ewiki/ewiki to your public_html/plugins/ewiki folder

(2) copy the contents of ewiki/ewiki/ewiki to your public_html/plugins/ewiki folder too

(2) copy admin to your admin/plugins/ewiki folder

(3) copy ewiki/ewiki/public_html to your public_html/ewiki folder

(4) go to your yoursite/admin/plugins/ewiki/install.php

Giving it a try may the force be with you

That was very connfusing, the copying of contents of /plugins/ewiki/ewiki to plugins/ewiki .

That is not standard in the 7 other plugins I've done. They simply extracted the required files from the tarball to the top level target directory in /plugins.

It is not mentioned in the install instructions so it costs time and frustration.

If someone doesn't have the wherewithal to start looking at how other plugin files work and comparing to the ewiki plugin, it is likely a show stopper for them because they will think it is set up that way for a reason.

Also, for some it might be easier to rename extracted plugin directories before moving them to /public_html/ewiki and /public_html/admin/plugins/ewiki . However renaming to ewiki won't work when the redundant directory already exists.

Otherwise, I'm really jazzed about having a wiki!
