I've just got this error on my page. Seems to have happened pretty spontaniously. Suggestions?

That can happen when you get a lot of simultanous hits on your page (and/or your hosting service doesn't allow many SQL requests at the same time). There isn't really anything that Geeklog could do here - it's all in the MySQL configuration.

If you get that often, try talking to your hosting service.

bye, Dirk

Now I'm getting this error:

Text Formatted Code
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/dscrowe/public_html/system/databases/mysql.class.php on line 112
Cannnot connect to DB server

That usually means that the MySQL server isn't even running. Talk to your hosting service.

bye, Dirk
