I tried to install on a test site and got the success page but the index.php page gives the error "An SQL error has occurred. Please see error.log for details.". directory.php and spamx admin page also give this error.

Installing plugins gives same error and puts same entry into error.log as below.

Everything else works.

Error log:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '))) AND (gl_stories.draft_flag = 0) GROUP BY t.sid ORDER BY t.date DESC LIMIT 15' at line 1. SQL in question: SELECT DISTINCT COUNT(*) AS count,gl_stories.title,t.sid FROM gl_trackback AS t,gl_stories WHERE (t.type = 'article') AND (t.sid = gl_stories.sid) AND (t.date >= (DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL SECOND))) AND (gl_stories.draft_flag = 0) GROUP BY t.sid ORDER BY t.date DESC LIMIT 15

I have ran the install several times with the same results.

check.php passes everything.

EDIT* Though I get the error on plugin installs, they seem to install with the exception of Spamx but give "Data: 1.x, Code: N/A Update!" message.

You seem to be missing $_CONF['newtrackbackinterval'] in your config.php

That did it. Weird I thought I used the config.php that came with 1.4.0b1.
