Hi,

I get the following error when I go to my gallery

Warning: fopen(/hsphere/local/home/shanegib/shanegibney.com/albums/albumdb.dat.0): failed to open stream: Disk quota exceeded in /hsphere/local/home/shanegib/shanegibney.com/gallery/platform/fs_unix.php on line 58

I use GeekLog v1.3.11sr1 and Gallery v1 and the ClearBlue theme.

Also once I get this error all the links go yellow when I hover over them with the cursor. Although the gallery does work fine.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

Shane

Now I feel like a real idiot...the error doesn't occur anymore.

However the hover problem described above is still there, but only while I'm in the gallery, and it affects links outside the gallery such as those in the main menu and left and right blocks.

I use the RandomPhotoBlock and if in it I click on a highlighted photo I get the following error

Warning: array_search(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /hsphere/local/home/shanegib/shanegibney.com/gallery/lib/albumItem.php on line 303

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /hsphere/local/home/shanegib/shanegibney.com/gallery/classes/AlbumItem.php on line 454

Has anyone got an ideas how I might correct these errors.

Check the FAQ is it?..............But I did!
Also I did have this problem before on another site I set up.
I never managed to sort it out there either and I can't find the post now in the forums here, when I asked for help that time.
Confused

Shocked I can't believe you didn't know what I was gonna say.
I was going to suggest another gallery option. I even have one in mind... Leaves me speechless

"Another gallery option"?

I always knew I wasn't the brightest tool in the shed!

You'll have to spell it out for me.............

Is it possible not to allow highlighted images in the randomphotoblock? Is that possible?

that's probably a css issue, cuz the images are linked i think. I'm not a Gallery guy so I cant really help you.

I was just gonna suggest that you try the Inmemoriam Media gallery.

surprised
Ah! An entirely new plugin and move all my photos over and their captions etc.

Thats's alot of work isn't it?

I'll play around with it for a few days and then if no go I'll think about that option.

And does that plugin work with the RandomPhotoBlock?

Thanks,

Shane

Doh! - that was a mistake I didn't realise this is your very own plugin.

Wow I'm talking to the guru himself, cool!

Well in that case I'll get and use it.

I'm going to set it up tonight.

Thanks,

Shane

if you wait about a week and a half then you wont have to deal with all the bugs that are in the current beta. I've added tons and fix tons more. check out the one now, but don't transfer all your stuff untill the next release...

excited
Brilliant. I'll practice setting it up now and then do it for real when the new version is ready.

When I was originally looking around for a gallery, do you know the reason I didn't use your gallery was because I thought the name sounded very morbid. Inmemoriam sounds like 'in memory of' which reminds me of death. I'm sure you don't want to hear that., specially now the name is established. But just to let you know.

Can't wait to download it. Very Happy

Thanks again,

Shane

you are right about the name and what it means. I had asked back in January for suggestions, but nobody had any so I went the morbid way. You can change any reference to that word in the language file if you like. And the public dir is also configurable so you don't have to have it show up in your urls.
