We are participating in the IBM Chiphopper program. If you are not already aware, this is a program where IBM supports migration of application code bases on Linux on X86 to Linux on their other platforms (Linux on mainframe, powerblade, etc....). IBM picks up much of the expense. Primarily tech support and server ranches. I am interested in trying geeklog on in this development environment and reporting back to the community. Any thoughts?

GL is tested and ready for the enterprise.

Just ask the devs involved with groklaw.net

GL can withstand the worst of slashdottings.

I look forward to hearing what big blue has to say about my favourite CMS.

GeekLog is written in php. So by default it should run on Linux on POWER and so forth. Currently IBM supports RHEL3, RHEL4 and SLES8 and SLES9. All these distro's have support for php.

I think it would be very positve for the g'loggers that want to use geeklog for a development framework to have the IBM certification of multiple platform compatiblity. I am sure other CMS's would probably follow but this could be fairly strategic for the evangelism of geeklog if we get there first....
