freakingout
Hi,
I have just recently installed GL1.3.11 which includes the spamx and staticpages plugins.
When I login as admin and click the plugins link the plugins page loads and shows that both are installed, but when I click either of the plugins the page times out.
/admin/plugins.php?mode=edit&pi_name=staticpages

everything else seems to be working.

I have searched here and found nothing that seems related.
any ideas?

Just a guess, but are you using the professional theme? If not, you may have to update your theme (specifically the admin/plugins directory).

bye, Dirk

Ya know, I thought of that. I have the same result using Classic or clean. I haven't tried any others.
What do you mean by update?
I can give it a shot with these themes.

thanks for the quick reply.

There are usually theme changes when a new Geeklog version is released to allow for new features. The changes are listed in the documentation.

But if it doesn't work with the Professional theme that shipped with Geeklog, then the problem is somewhere else ...

bye, Dirk

No idea, really ...

Anything in your webserver's error logfiles?

Or a name conflict with the "admin" directory, maybe? Some hosting services have a pre-configured admin directory which interferes with Geeklog's then. You can rename Geeklog's admin directory to something else and adjust the name in config.php and see if that helps ...

bye, Dirk

[error] File does not exist:/var/www/geeklog/staticpages/plugins.php
and indeed it doesnt.

apache log shows the above. gl log has nothing interesting.

No naming conflict. This is my server.
