confused
Hi,
and thanks for a realy nice and neat web system!

Iv'e been runing the combination mentioned above on a site for quite some
time now, and it all worked well untill a couple of days ago.
All of a sudden I get the message Forum Access Error
Topic does not exist. It possibly has been deleted.
whenever I try to reply to a topic. Making new topics work nicely.

I've been in touch with the webhotel, but they claim no changes have been
done. Also I've made a new subdomain on the server, and installed a brand new
geeklog and forum. And there it works all nice and neat.
This leads me to the conclution at the server is ok.
At the live site, I've tried removing and reinstalling the forum plugin, but this don't
do any change.

I'vd realy appreciate any suggestions.

Regards,

Svein André

What other plugins do you have installed?

These plugins are in use on the site:

- Staticpages 1.4.1
- SpamX 1.0.1
- Forum 2.3
- Easyfile 0.7.2
- Thingstodo 1.3

It comes to my mind, that my webmaster companion upgraded the
easyfile plugin a couple of weeks ago, but I'm quite certain the forum
worked afte this.

Along with the forum problem, there's some more strange things going
on at the site. The header.thtml file has been changed "by it self" two
times. Both the other webmaster, and the folks at the webhotel claims
no changes has been made.
The Gallery 1.4.4 all of a sudden has stopped showing pictures in any
other size than the thumbnail view.
Earlier the site was generating an average of 25MB of traffic every day.
This is a little od, since the whole site, including all pictures
and db's are only 18MB. So I checked the statistics and it tourned out the
submit.php was the main traffic generator.
So I removed the link on the mainpage, and traffic is now back to normal.

The site is runing a slitely modified Axonz 3.4 red theme.
You'll find the site here

Thanx.

Disable the easyfile plugin and I think you will find it works again. I have no idea why Easyfile is causing this issue but others have noted it as well.

Damn bug. I just noticed this one too. I was more or less forced to use Filemgmt instead of Easyfile for now. Easyfile was really nice too.

EasyFile 0.72 screwed up my Forum 2.3.2 and GL 1.3.11 as well. It would cause replies to become their own threads/topics. Disabling it fixed everything.

Thanx a lot for all help!

I'll give it a try, and hope it'll do.

Anyone know where to find the 7.1 release of easyfile?
Cause that one worked nice and neat with my other plugins.

As the author of easyfile I can confirm that this is all my fault.

I've just uploaded v0.7.3 to this site, and it should be available shortly. I don't run the forum plugin myself, so this malfunction went unnoticed for too long. I have however installed the forum on my development machine and confirmed the bug's existence in Easyfile v0.7.2 and verified it fixed in v0.7.3.

Major apologies for the inconvenience, especially to Blaine who's had to answer bug-reports on this.
