I'm just trying to get my GL site started. My intention is to migrate my blog activity from the blogger I've been using for over a year, at http://wanderingsalsero.blogspot.com.

Blogger was OK but I wanted more formatting options. Looks like GL has'em but it seems that you have to be more geek-ish than I am. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make my Audio Generator codes show up properly.

For example:

I'm trying to get that to display as a 'play button' like it does over on my blogger blog. If anybody cares to give me some pointers, I can be reached toll free anytime at 1 877 356 0398.

After I master that, I need to become profecient in the art of posting pictures. WanderingSalsero (me) takes a lot of pictures.

Is it my imagination or does Geeklog not look as 'artsy' as , say......Movable Type or Typepad? Seems that way to me.

Your example was filtered out - try using the CODE button in the forum editor next time when you want to post HTML code.

In the meantime, I think you should read Why does Geeklog remove certain HTML tags?

And Geeklog can be as "artsy" as you want it to be - you just have to make an artsy theme. See our demo site for some of the available themes.

bye, Dirk
