SQL error when logged in after upgrade

I upgraded from 1.3.9 to 1.3.11
When I log in I get a fatal SQL error:
Wed Jan 5 12:40:18 2005 - 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'where provider='Wired News'' at line 1. SQL in question: select newsid, rdfurl, rdfupdated, provider, category from where provider='Wired News'
Anonymous users are OK. Only logged in users and only the main index page. (For instance, I can access site/admin when logged in.)
Ideas?

Turns out to have been a bad staticpage that only displayed when logged in and unrelated to the upgrade.
