I've seen this before and I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what the problem is. I log into my newly installed 1.3.10 site and it shows me as logged in on the "Who's Online" block, but I still see the login prompt and don't have any other indication that I'm logged on (none of the extra blocks, etc)

I know it's not a cookie/browser issue as all my other GL sites work fine, and I've tried it on 2 PCs in 2 browsers on each PC.

What am I missing? Probably something I missed in config.php but I cannot figure it out.

Doh! I'm a bonehead. I had 2 DNS names pointing at the same site. When you use the same name that GL is set up for it works. When you use the other name it behaves as noted. I think I'll set the 2nd one to forward to the right now to avoid this sort of confusion.

Maybe check the session settings in your config.php. Just a guess though.

I've had similar behavior once when my browser was using cached pages instead of refreshing properly. Much of the site worked seemed to work fine, but certain admin functions just seemed broken.
