Hello all,

I have just finished my fresh install of Geeklog 1.3.10. I am trying to customize without messing up a good thing. I still need to install my plugins but for now, I am trying to customize the menu.

According to the config.php file, I figured I should be able to change whatever I want within config.php itself for my menu items..

Does that mean if I want Home to appear at the top of the site and I do not want Web Resources, all I have to do is change 'links' to 'home'? And If I were to add the Forum Plugin, will the link appear automatically with the other menu elements, or do I have to do something special to get Forum to appear at the top?

$_CONF['menu_elements'] = array
(
// 'home', // link to homepage
'contribute', // contribute / "submit a story" link
'links', // link to the links section (aka web resources)
'polls', // link to past polls
'calendar', // link to the site calendar
'search', // link to advanced search
'stats', // link to site stats
// 'prefs', // link to user's preferences
'plugins' // links added by plugins, like {plg_menu_elements}
// 'custom' // for custom links (see lib-custom.php)
);

If all my assumptions are wrong, Can someone direct me as to how I go about changing and/or editing my menu elements. And by this, I meant the list at the very top of the Geeklog Homepage (Contribute, Web Resources, Calendar, Advanced Search...)

Thanks in advance

your plugin links will appear automatically once installed, thus the line that says:
'plugins' // links added by plugins, like {plg_menu_elements}

if you want the home link... uncomment that line.
if you do not want the resources link, comment that line.

hope that is a bit clearer for you.
