Geeklog Forums

I have installed Gallery into my Geeklog system but have been unable to integrate it into the frontpage of the site. I am guessing that I need to embed it in a Static page but am not sure how to accomplish this with out errors. I have tried the OBJECT tag but am not that familiar with it and have not suceeded. Some please end my struggle! -uO

In wich way do you want to integrate it? The album page at your geeklog frontpage?

Yes, a segment of the gallery to be a centerblock on the geeklog main page. Ideally this would be an intro/menu/slideshow bit from the gallery. What I am making is a site for visual artists and they want to have images up front.

There is currently no way to include part of the Gallery as a centerblock in index.php. If you want to do it yourself, you'd have to write a 'functions.inc' for gallery. See the Plugin Developer's Guild (linked to from the resources block on the left of geeklog.net) for more information about a 'funcions.inc' file.
