Can't add stories?

Whenever I go to admin/story.php?mode=edit it tells me I do not have access... yet I am logged in as a root with all groups checked. Any ideas?

Can you be more specific, please? Can you not log in at all or are you just unable to create new stories while other things like, say, editing blocks, works?
