.htaccess problem

Hey all,

Just installed GL in a .htaccess protected directory. Everything is working fine but when I go to the protected directory it asked for the username and password 3 times before the site completely loads. Everything that has to do with GL is in the protected director so it isn't grabing anything outsire of it. Anyone know what could be cause the multiple logins.

Thanks

remove the .htaccess file? Razz

Check your error log for your webserver. Try putting your .htaccess file in /path/to/geeklog/ instead of under public_html.

I would like too, but I need the file to have a private area for our team members. We work on confidental info so we can't have the site accessable to just anyone and I don't know any other way to keep people off the site.
