The gallery integration seems to be broken by RC1. It looks like it just doesn't produce the header part of the pages.

Find the call to COM_siteHeader in the Gallery integration files and put an "echo" in front of it. That should fix it.

bye, Dirk

Bingo! That fixed it for me too.

To clarify, you need to find the call to "COM_siteHeader();" in path/to/gallery/html_wrap/wrapper.header.default and change it to "echo COM_siteHeader();".

Hi
I tried the echo variant, but no help. Gallery is still outside GeekLog.
I read all postings, and tried my best. But no luck..

You selected the Geeklog integration option during the gallery setup?

And you changed/checked the wrapper.header.default ?

The end should look like this:
Text Formatted Code
        case 'GeekLog':
                /*
                ** Display header and left blocks
                */
                echo COM_siteHeader( none );
        break;

        }
}
?>

Hi

yes, changed just the same..did it again...no luck...tried new installation...no luck.
but then I changed the wrapper.header and wrote GeekLog with big G end L instead of all small letters (as original). And voila..

thank you very much..

I have this in wrapper.header:

global $GALLERY_EMBEDDED_INSIDE;

if ($GALLERY_EMBEDDED_INSIDE == 'geeklog') {
/* Display header and left blocks */
echo COM_siteHeader();
}

?>
If I let "geeklog" all lowercase I can access to "localhost/gallery". If I write "GeekLog" everything seems broken (no classic geeklog layout).

The only thing I cannot understand is that I don't know how to see some gallery-related links in my main gl site at "localhost/geeklog/public_html" (i'm testing locally.

During the setup process I choose the two embed "mod" options for integrating Gallery in GL...and now I don't know what to do
