The last step in the readme.txt is :

Where? It depents on where you want it.

If you want it at the top manu bar, edit the header.thml in the layout to add the link next to the other links. Using this site as an example, if you want to put it next to 'Personalize' or 'Polls' find these links in the header.thml and insert the Gallery link there.

If you want to put it in the left column's 'Resources' block, you need to hack the lib-common.php.

You can also create a block with only the link to the Gallery.

Hope this gives you some clue!

Happy New Year!

Portal blocks are for showing RSS feeds. Did you set it up correctly?

Where is the documentation located - which file? I dl'd gallery_1.4.1_1.3.8 and can't find it for some reason. All I find is installing Gallery by itself.

Assuming you have Geeklog up and running, just install the Gallery package and proceed with the Gallery configuation.
At the very end of the installation, you will be asked for the path to your Geeklog files.

That is all that is required, which is the beauty of what Vinny has accomplished.

When you go to your Gallery URL you will find it already wrapped inside the Geeklog site.

Fantastic "plug-in"!

Oh, and for the link I just made a topic called "Photo Gallery" which contains one story. The link is in the story.
