Hi, I am running the latest version of GL with the new Static Pages plugin. I am creating just a basic static page with just HTML. When I need to include quotes, I use the backslash before any ' like you would in any circumstance in php, but after I view the page and go back to the code, it triples the number of backslashes.

Does anyone else have these troubles? Any help is, as always, very appreciated!

To clarify: Is this happening with the included Static Pages plugin (1.3) or with the extended one that someone (sorry, can't remember the name right now) made?

bye, Dirk

The modifications were made by me, and apparently this has become something of a mixed problem. More than likely, anyone experiencing this problem is using my plugin mod. I apologise for problems people are having.

My original plugin release (what I called staticpages 1.3.a) did not add slashes, which caused problems for a number of persons, myself included, where non-slashed chars would disappear. The version 1.3.2 was meant to eliminate this problem, and it adds backslashes again. This however has resulted in many people experiencing the opposite problem, duplicating slashes each time a page is edited. This is being discussed in another thread:

xspace has some code listed that may fix the problem. I have been busy, but am now preparing to try and fix this bug for once and for all, if you would be avaliable to beta test a bug fix or me, please e-mail me at 'alexx a t eyedocgreg dot com'.

Again, I apologise for problems being experienced with this code. It seems to be somewhat sporadic, as it works correctly for many people, but not all. If anyone else has info about what might be causing this, please also e-mail me.

Thanks,

Exaurdon~
