Journal plugin?

Anonymous

Anonymous
I downloaded the "journal" plugin just to see what it is, and the README talks about it being a photo albumn plugin, and then it gives instructions about files which do not even exist. Am I correct that this plugin is "insane"? It looks like maybe someone copied a template but did not update the README or something. And BTW, where do I get the photo albumn plugin? (Now that my interest has been piqued) I still only see 3 plugins on the site for geeklog. thanks, -Alan

Not working. Since creating the Journal Plugin, the Geeklog Plugin API has changed a bit, thus, breaking the journal plugin. I didn't get any feedback that anyone liked or even used it so i stopped working on it and continued forward with Geeklog coding. If any of you want it, please comment now otherwise this plugins will die by the wayside. ----- The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.

Tony, Do you have an example running anywhere or a sample image to show. Possibly, there is a readme that I should be looking for to give me more details. Blaine

I don't how many people out there would like to see the Journal working, but I would. And since I'm not logged in, here's who am I: Horacio Salazar [horacios@intercable.net] [horacio@daniloblack.com]. Please advise: should I expect a reply or else should I forget about the whole thing? Thanks in advance!

I think a photo album would be a fantastic plugin. If you don't want to continue development, give it to me. It might take me a few months to get to it, but I would definitely use that plugin! -Chris Tulino admin@christulino.com

The code is at: <a href="http://sf.net/projects/geeklogplugins">http://sf.net/projects/geeklogplugins</a> Again, it's API implementation is out of date but could be made workable within a day or two by someone with PHP skillz and an understanding of GL code libraries.

I've only been working on it for about an hour and it workable now. I think all that's left to do is rework printjournalentry function. Check it out http://www.gxblock.com
