Bay Area Hokies

After hacking through my own site and finally learning the ins and outs of Geeklog I put my skills to the test on a real site. http://www.bayareahokies.com

The site is for our alumni chapter in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've integrated lots of the new plugins and they are all working quite smoothly. The theme is based on Geeksta's Industrial Grey.

Thanks to all those who contribute to the development of GL. Without you we'd all still be looking at some pretty nasty websites.

You can show your thanks by putting back the link that you removed pointing to Geeklog. I find it interesting how some people remove that link so as not to reveal the source of the software powering their sites. Why bother putting Copyright notices on your own sites if you won't respect the work of others? If it weren't for people like Dirk, Tony, and a number of others donating their time to produce open source software, many folks would not have the complex sites they enjoy today. These developers do all this without pay. The least everyone could do is give them credit with a link back. That's a very small price considering how expensive commercial CMS products are and some of which have far less features. Off my soapbox now.
