hi guys, do you know if will be possible to ban a user from the IP address to deny access to the site where you need to be registered and deny a new user registration? Thanks in advance.

I haven't found a need to ban access to Geeklog yet so I don't know if through Geeklog it's possible to ban IPs. You can use a firewall unless of course you have other services running on your computer you would like them to access. A good free firewall which should allow you to block IPs is Kerio personal firewall at http://www.kerio.com---Victor B. Gonzalez

this has been discussed a few times. .htaccess would be the easiest way to do it to block new registrations you could turn on the submission queue and only accept those users you want
