Can't set register_globals=on in php.ini

Hi... I have set it in /usr/local/lib/php.ini I'm running apache, mod_ssl, virtual hosting. I'm lost :-( it seems to ignore the directive. What give? ANY HELP much appreciated. Thanks Liam.

Have you restarted Apache after the change? The next thing to check (if that doesn't fix it) is that you changed the correct php.ini file - you may have more than one on your hard drive. Use a PHP script with only <?php phpinfo() ?> in it (or use the file info.php in Geeklog's admin/install directory). It will tell you (in the first block) where it is expecting the php.ini. bye, Dirk
