Specified upload directory...

Very, very happy with GL. But...when an admin logs in, and tries to post a story with IMAGES, the system responds with: Specified upload directory, <correct full path to the directory which has been chmod'ed 777.../images/articles> is not a valid directory. Since it *is* a valid directory...any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

(I'm the original poster...) My computer at home runs Windows. My web hosting provider runs RedHat. I ran and configured GL on the home system and dumped the DB structure and content. I then imported the schema into a DB on my webhosting provider, modified the config.php "appropriately", and FTP'ed GL to the web hosting provider. GL *works* on my Windows box. GL allows anonymous users to post non-image-laden stories on the Linux box. (For those who may be insanely curious...the Linux site's at http://www.small.to Two thoughts about what might be wrong: 1) no trailing slash to the images directory in admin/story (which, due to my whp's php.ini, may be an issue) 2) some issue with converting from Windows to Linux. Any help provided will be appreciated.

Turns out I just needed to chmod the parent directory, and everything's working.
